Dear Readers,

It has been such a long time since I wrote to you. In the last two to three months, something strange has happened. I have become an AI coder. Thanks to advancements in AI coding, I am now capable of making apps and websites within minutes. Making prototypes takes minutes, but making them good enough for everyday use takes months. You have to drill down on the details, the UI/UX, the design, etc.

So ladies and gentlemen, I present what I have built since I wrote to you last time!

4. Essaymd - Scrapped the earlier app and then built this sexy writing app in which this newsletter was written again from the ground up.

I am involved in planning a communication strategy for Udipi Esamudaay

Esamudaay has a fascinating vision, it wants to create nested networks based on affinities like geography, industry, and community. They call it nested networks. The concept behind these communities is of digital Swaraj, data for local enrichment rather than global.

Their test pilot was in Udipi as it was where the founders hail from. The Udipi circle was a delivery app in the style of zomato and Swiggy. They stopped operations this January 25 and plan to restart again in January 26. I wrote a blogpost on why they had to ground the operations, this was my analysis and I am eager to know, if you think differently from me.

It is always easy to critique failure in hindsight, but when you are in the middle of things it's too late to pivot.

I love the idea of community first, rather than nation first. The community is the first line of defence, but our discourses are becoming monolithic and killing the rich diversity of communities. I would personally love to see such community-based business models.

Sales Automation

Do you do BD or Sales? I hate the manual work of calling each person. So I created a sales automation system on my iPhone. It takes numbers from Google Sheets, and then I use Apple shortcuts to send bulk SMS, WhatsApp, and then make calls to individual numbers.
